Day 31
Royalton, MN - Springvale, MN Mi = 72 Another rainy day but we had to push on. No definitive thunderstorms. Although, a few hours into cycling, we got caught in a quick storm. Luckily, we were near a town when it hit and were able to use a convenience store for an umbrella. After that break, we felt energized enough to push on to 100 miles, which was further than we had planned. Jon’s tire had other plans. The only tube left was an old patched one, and we weren’t sure how far he would make it…. back to our original plans and called it a day at 72 mi when we arrived at a campsite in Springvale. What a beautiful facility hidden on the back roads of Minnesota….large pool, clean showers with hot water, and friendly people…….and of course our Barb! :)
